Job Description

Position Summary

AH Concrete is seeking a motivated and dependable Concrete Foundation Laborer to join our residential construction team. This role is responsible for assisting with the construction of residential foundations, including site preparation, footing installation, foundation forming, concrete placement, and cleanup. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is committed to maintaining a safe and productive job site.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with layout, preparation, and installation of residential concrete foundations.

  • Set foundation forms for footings and walls.

  • Place reinforcing steel, anchor bolts, and other foundation components according to project specifications.

  • Assist with pouring, placing, and finishing concrete.

  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Perform site cleanup and material handling throughout all phases of construction.

  • Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment.

  • Follow grade and elevation markings established by supervisors.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.

  • Work collaboratively with foremen, operators, and other crew members to complete projects on schedule.

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.


Qualifications

Required

  • Must have one of the following if not a U.S. Citizen: valid Idaho Drivers License, H-2B or TN Visa, or Permanent Resident Card

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physical labor.

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly.

  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Previous concrete, foundation, excavation, or construction experience.

  • Experience with residential foundation forming and concrete placement.

  • Familiarity with construction tools and equipment.

  • Equipment operating experience.

  • OSHA 10 certification.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, and climbing.

  • Ability to work on uneven terrain and active residential construction sites.

  • Ability to safely perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.

  • Ability to work overtime as needed to meet project schedules.
